Hey you reader ! I'm Yanis, mountains enthousiaste, always seeking for new adventures ⛰️. Beside that I’m a researcher in bioacoustics, meaning that I listen to animal for a living 🐦‍⬛🦊

Currently in biking for a months across to the alps and balkans, so I won’t be able to host people unfortunately ! But always available to meet people along the way !

To describe myself in a few words I would say that I am a strange chimera between a mountain man, a scientist and a repressed artist. Strange animal, isn't it? Music is an integral part of my life, and I love to get out my guitar to slap some funky beats when I'm not out climbing outdoor or getting lost running on the trail.

When I have some time left I have long and deep discussions with friends, draw (mostly whales 🐳), try to learn new languages 🇪🇸, craft, do (try to do) yoga, devour books and I even sleep sometimes too haha.

The world is so vast and so full of wonderfull people ! I would be lucky just to meet a small portion of them

Couchsurfing brings a new way to experience travel, more centered on the present moment and on Human connexion. To me it's the best way to discover a country, it's culture and maybe creating long lasting friendship

But less seriouly... it's FUN
