The deceptive behaviour undertaken by this service, charging without proper notice and only giving 72 hours for a refund, is shameful. I will be deleting my account after I receive my refund - I'm lucky I noticed the charge within the time period. I wonder how much money CouchSurfing has made off of their members by encouraging them to verify their account but not making it clear there was a charge associated with such action?
