About Me

I'm into urban planning, I have a fascination with cool maps, transportation networks, community planning, landscape architecture, etc. I enjoy all sorts of music, I studied in classical piano for many years, but have not played in a long time. I stopped taking classes a few years ago, though I'm a decent sight reader.

I spend most of my time working and volunteering in an LGBTQ+ community organization, planning activities, receiving volunteer initiatives and supporting migrant asylum seekers and refugees to Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotel rooms are boring!
Besides from that, I myself couldn't afford to travel if I had to pay for accomodations every night, so I absolutely stand in solidarity with anyone who is here "just because it's cheap". I also believe in sharing and solidarity, that we can live much more fair, fulfilling and efficient lives just by accepting to share our ressources with others. I'm not a big fan of capitalism, individualism and excessive consumption! I do believe in hospitality, kindness, respect and discovering other people's ways of life 🌈
I'm also just a nomad at heart, so I just like moving around often, meeting new people, living and loving and seeing everything there is to see.

Interests

I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi novels though I am a very slow reader so I have a limited repertoire. I like learning and watching documentaries about anything if they are well made. I'm a bit picky when it comes to movies, though not into any genre in particular I like them to be both smart and meaningful, with a favorable bias towards anything with queer narrative ;)
I'm getting into anime as well and learning a bit of Japanese along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm into sharing skills and knowledge. I can share my vegan cooking with others, I make good coffee drinks, I can give a massage, a music lesson, help you find your way around or even give a bike tour of different areas in Montreal.
