About Me

Network and branch out.

I just graduated from the University of Arizona. My emphasis is in production, specifically production design, cinematography and directing. I also write stories and I have a blog. I hope to travel the world and make films.

I'm a laissez-faire capitalist who believes people can't be forced to do good, but can be expected to. I believe in man's potential to do great things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to gain experiences that will help me to develop ideas for the films I soon will make, as well as meet people and network with them.

Movies, biking, hiking, skiing, reading, writing, cooking, foosball, beer-tasting and lucid dreaming.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite films include The Truman Show, Robocop, Magnolia, Solaris and Eraserhead, to name a few. Being a movie guy, I generally like music that has a sweeping, epic, cinematic quality. Aside from actual film scores, I like Boards of Canada, Mum, Fleetwood Mac, Meatloaf, Graham Bond Organization, George Jones, Tommy James and ABBA. Yes, ABBA.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in the Rocky Mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of lighting and composition for film, as well as other cinematic aesthetics. I can tell you what looks good through a lens. I can also teach editing. I'm also an idea person, so I can give you ideas if you need them. Oh, and chess. I'm pretty good at chess.
