Yann is my name. I grew up in a small village in the countryside of France, somewhere between Brittany and Normandy. I started traveling at 19 years old (back in 2013). It was such a huge step for a small town boy like me! It definitely changed my life as you can imagine.

I have been traveling through Europe, Asia, Oceania and America since then, working and living in some of those countries (Ireland, Australia, Japan...) and exploring others. Canada welcomed me in 2021 and I spent 3 years in this country (time flies!). I lived mostly in the Yukon as I fell in love with that place and I eventually became a permanent resident of Canada.

But it's time to hit the road again! I am now traveling around Latin America, basically going from Mexico to Patagonia. A trip that should take over a year if accomplished. I don't have a real plan of where to go/what to do but I just feel like experiencing new atmospheres and Couchsurfing is a great way to make this happen. It also felt at times that I spent too much time in hostels and not enough with the local population

兴趣

I am truly passionate about history, anthropology, geography, geopolitics but also zoology. I never had a job that really matches my passions but I will be more than happy when it happens.

Beside these interests, I am a really active person. Always ready to hike that nearby mountain, cycling across new lands or camping in national parks. Even though I like having some time to relax at home, I just feel like being out everyday, even just for a quick walk
