Make the most of it
My name is Yanna, I was born and grew up in Germany. I graduated from school in 2012 and spent the year after working as an Au Pair girl in Brighton. During my time as Au Pair and afterwards I travelled through Europe a lot and discovered how happy it makes me to stray in the world as a backpacker and meet people from other countries. At the moment I'm back in Germany studying at university (Media and English/American Studies). I'm trying to become a writer and director, but until that it's still a long way.. I'm a pretty laid-back person and easy to get along with. Apart from the obvious (travelling) I love meeting new people, music, films, literature and everything artistic in generally. I was told that I radiate an "artistic spirit" (one of my favourite things someone said about me, I hope that's true ^^).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is such a great concept: it connects the world, helps people from different cultures and backgrounds to share experiences and thus raises open-mindedness and awareness. I've always met awesome people here so far and just love it!
literature, films, music, photography (and everything else artistic), writing, foreign languages, traveling, discovering things, meeting people from other countries, and last but not least: the British accent
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a bit of everything. I love Arcade Fire, La Roux, Coldplay, The Cure, Tegan and Sara, Mika, Depeche Mode, The Beatles, Regina Spektor, The Kooks, Phoenix, Chvrches, Daft Punk, many, many soundtracks and and and...
Some of my favorite movies are (but this is just a small collection) The Boat that Rocked, Madame Bovary (2015 version), Her, Atonement, Love Actually, Nowhere Boy, We need to talk about Kevin, The Graduate, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Into the Wild and most Steven Spielberg and Woody Allen movies. I also love watching "old" movies and British series like The Avengers or The Prisoner. I'm quite into the Sherlock Series (BBC) and Breaking Bad.
Game of Thrones is just epic.
I read a lot of american and british "classics" and coming of age stories.
