About Me
Currently i cant host anybody in Switzerland because im travelling by myself! If you want to come to my current destination i can host you in my Car 😄
In general, I have a lot of fun discovering new things. This can be new people, landscapes or even activities.
I love to be in the mountains -> hiking and paragliding are my passions and i do it as much as i can :) In winter i also like to go snowboarding ..
Since march 2022 me and my lovely girlfriend are on our Worldtrip. We shipped our van to Canada and started our journey there. Our plan is to drive all the way down until we arrive in Argentina :) You can follow our journey on www.bis-bald.ch or on our Instagram: bisbald.ch :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My girlfriend and I want to make new friendships on our trip, and we think that couchsurfing is a good opportunity to meet new people.
We don't have any experience in things like couchsurfing but I think there will be two different cases for us:
- If we are driving around with our car, we will take other travelers or hitchhikers with us and if they want to sleep next to our car, we have a tent and a sleeping bag :D
- When we are in a city, our Van isn't the best place to sleep. Then couchsurfing would be a cheap and funny opportunity to sleep there. This case would match also if our car is in another place than we are :D
Interests
My greatest passion and addiction is paragliding - I try to do it as much as possible. I love the feeling of flying in thermal winds and to develop myself in flying acrobatic (even if I'm not good at it yet).
Otherwise, I like snowboarding, hiking and beeing outdoors. I like to talk about programming and talking about computer, even if I'm not a classic nerd. Sometimes I have also some phases where I play videogames, but since I played my whole childhood and I work as a computer-scientist I don't have the need too much! In Switzerland i really liked to get drink a lot of beers on the weekends - but during travelling it got less (even if i still like a good brew?

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music-genre in everyday life is indie Folk and other music-genres with acoustic guitars. When it comes to party, i like techno and psytrance :D
I just started reading on my current Worldtrip.. I read some books about ravelling and my favorite were: Vagabonding and Slow Travelling
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got lost in the huge capital of Uganda without cash and phone .. Although this is not the best experience i learned that there are plenty of well minded people in every corner of the world who want to help you out of shitty situations..
Teach, Learn, Share
I can also teach you a classical Swiss card-game with the name "Jass" where I am one of the best in whole Switzerland (No joke, i once was the king of jass for a year, because i won the finals in swiss television 🤣). The most important thing in Jass is luck, so you may win against the swiss jass-king :)
Appart from that im not the best teacher but i like to make you laugh and have some funny, deep or dumb conversations. If you're interested i can help you with your German and tell you some funny Swiss-german words ..
Im not believer of any God and Religion and i also dont want to talk with you about that if you are not likeminded. I will never be part of your Religion or your theistic believes. Sorry!
What I Can Share with Hosts
During my current worldtrip, I will share the backseat of my van. If you need a place to sleep, we also have a tent and some sleeping bags!
