hey everyone, my name is Yannick and I'm a passionate traveller. In my free time, I'm enjoying doing different kind of sports like playing squash, badminton, football, biking or hiking. Additionally, I recently felt in love with playing chess. Especially during summer time I'm quite regularly in the beautiful Swiss alps hiking or biking. In general, mountains are my favourite place to be. When not in the mountains, I enjoy having a drink with some friends including deep discussions.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I just entered couchsurfing very recently (on December 24th 2021). I already heard a lot of good stuff about couchsurfing and thought that now is the time for me to join :) I'm a passionate traveller who was mostly staying at hostels so far. Thereby, I always enjoyed to meet other travellers from around the world, to explore the region with them and to have many hours of very interesting conversations. However, I did not get into contact with many locals in this way. Therefore, I would like to give couchsurfing a try, meet nice locals, see how life really is there and have interesting conversation with them.

I like listening to different kind of music like rock, pop, hip-hop though my favourite genere is rock.

I think my first place with regards to books will be shared by the well-known novel "1948" of George Orwell and "Extinction" of Kazuaki Takano.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the greatest thing I've recently done was a trip by motorbike through Vietnam. Thereby enjoying the wonderful scenery, great food and having many interesting encounterings. Also, this summer I did a beautiful one-week hike through the Swiss alps with camping in the nature.

I can give advises to all the places I've already been and of course especially to my home country, Switzerland. Furthermore, I'm an experienced solo traveller (Europe, Canada, Asia, Australia). Also, I've a master's degree in public economics and I'm quite good at data analytics. So any question in this regard, feel free to ask XD.
