Currently I am finishing my studies in Gothenburg, Sweden. I am a social person that likes to meet new people from different cultures. I want to learn new things every day, and try to see the positive things in life! I do not have much experience in travelling yet, but this summer I will make my first trip through Europe on my own. I am considering to make bigger trips by hitchhiking or by bicycle to discover Europe and maybe other continents, and learning more about what is important in life, trying to live on a low budget

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to host people in Gothenburg to give them a nice experience, show them the city and through that maybe also find new activities I would never have done before. I like travelling alone so I can meet local people and have fun! Otherwise I would be nice if you can host me in your city and maybe show the city as a local! I really don't like to be the tourist, I rather experience what your life is about and experience the place you live from your perspective

兴趣

I am playing electric guitar and bass, mainly pop and rock. Otherwise I am into biking a lot, roadtripping, hiking, snowboarding and maybe new activities! I like to make bigger trips on my bike as you can experience so much more than travelling by car. And ofcourse here in Sweden the fresh air and the nice views are a good motivation to keep on going!

Pop, Top 50, 60's, 70's, Rock, you name it! Huge fan of the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Jake Bugg, Rush, and many other bands and artists! I am not so into movies, but The Intouchables is my absolute favorite. I read many Dutch books and have rad many David Baldacci's. Not to forget I am currently reading Perko's book 1000 days of spring!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Driving my friends DAF 66. Its a special oldtimer car, Dutch made from the 70's. Just the feeling, making me vary relaxed. Another thing was my first hike into the Swedish mountains. As somebody that grew up in Holland this was an amazing experience, and many more hikes followed.

I can teach some basic guitar playing or maybe play together! I can also teach some Dutch and Swedish. I am definitely not the best cook, but I can always make something! I am studying environmental engineering and chemistry so we can have a lot of interesting discussions about innovations, sustainable development and so on!
