ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, and then grew up in North Florida. From there I wanted to go as far away as possible; I aimed for New York, and ended up in the United Arab Emirates. I'm beginning to learn to be grateful for these kinds of margins of error.

I have always loved to travel. I have always loved books. I have always loved finding a new side of things. For reasons I don't yet understand, I seemed to always want to be going somewhere - €”but so far, I'm having the time of my life, and I'm grateful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently moving about a lot, so I'm doing more surfing than hosting. I hope to be able to play host soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had hosts show me around the city, cook with me, even offer me a couch for a couple nights; all of it has been incredible, and I look forward to being able to do it again.

Intereses

Pretty much anything really—I'm actor, so I love seeing what kind of theatre, music, art, or performances I can find when I travel. I also have a deeply ingrained passion for cheap food, and my favorite thing to do while traveling is to discover new and amazing things to eat.

I try and learn something of a new language wherever I go, and I really love words and speaking and finding out how a culture and a person expresses themselves in any part of the world.

Also, I can sleep almost anywhere; couches are luxurious to me.

The first time I learned the proper way to eat a Tim Tam, I realized there was a common thread in the breathtaking moments in my life—

my expectations were high, the ideal higher, and the reality was somewhere miles away in a place had I never thought to look.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm starting to learn to cook, and I'm always up to learn a new recipe. I may not be very good, but I can at least wash all of the dishes if you would be so kind as to offer me your couch / chair / (mostly) empty bathtub

I'm also studying Arabic, so if you're keen to practice or learn a few words I'd be happy to share.
