Overview
About Me
After graduating from high school, I traveled a lot, including a bickpacking tour around the Baltic Sea, a minivan tour in Scandinavia and an Interrail trip to Portugal. I then completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and learned a lot about wood and building houses. I want to deepen this knowledge, which is why I am currently studying civil engineering so that I can later calculate the statics and build wooden houses by hand myself. When I'm not studying, I like to do sports, go on adventures, share experiences with friends and get to know new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve always found that traveling is best when you have direct connections to people living in the country. They know exactly where the beautiful spots are or simply where the nearest supermarket is. I’ve been lucky to experience this firsthand, as I have friends in Egypt, Italy, and England. Visiting them has always made for the most memorable trips.
Couchsurfing offers exactly this kind of opportunity: connecting with people who truly know their city. That’s why I’m on Couchsurfing.
Interests
I really like sports. It doesn’t even matter what kind of sport as long as it is sport. I just love giving everything i got and fighting for the victory. Sometimes it works other times it doesn’t. But being back home totally exhausted by the training is one of the best feelings out there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very open when it comes to my taste in music. I like all genres, always depending on the moment. When I'm alone, I usually listen to calm techno or relaxed tunes.
My favorite things to read are novels or thrillers. Novels, because you can read unique stories, and crime thrillers, because you can be on the edge of your seat until the end.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my training as a carpenter, I lived in Norway for a while. I was in a very remote village there and independently built a shelter for tools, equipment and cars for a family who rented out a small apartment. I learned a lot in the process and am glad I had the experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve always enjoyed going to school - seeing my friends, learning new things, and growing step by step. For me, doing a lot of sports with the goal of improving with every training session feels very similar.
Studying was never a torture for me, it’s just something I do naturally.
As a former tennis coach, I loved watching kids learn and improve. Teaching something you enjoy myself is simply a joy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In return for the hospitality, to which I am always deeply grateful, I can talk a lot about craftsmanship, especially working with wood, because of my apprenticeship. I also enjoy sharing experiences from my travels. That's actually what I like most about traveling: getting in touch with new people and having conversations, even if only for a short time, getting to know each other and enriching each other's lives.
