Hi everyone!

I’m Yannis, 26 years old man from the town of Xanthi in Northern Greece, currently working in Athens. I studied journalism at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I work as a journalist. At the same time, I work for a human rights organization.

I love to run at any weather and I’m madly in love with Spanish music, culture, food etc. I’ve been learning Spanish for a bit more than a year and I tried Polish a long time ago. Not sure whether to pursue that. Sometimes I write short stories or poems for fun.

My passion (probably quite a popular one here) is travelling. I tend to be a bit shy at first but give me a beer and I’m up for discussions, going out or just having a good time.

I can only offer a mattress on the floor for couchsurfers in my studio (only one room). This means there is no space for privacy. My free time is not that much but I would love to spend as much time as possible with surfers.

In case I am travelling, I promise to be clean at your place and I can try my aspiring cooking skills in your kitchen or help you with any other household chore. You name it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to connect to people while travelling and immerse myself into other cultures, not just looking at everything like through a glass wall. CS seems like a good place to do that, and I’m always excited about meeting some amazing people

I love Spanish punk and rock. I went to Viña Rock Festival once 🎊
My favorite author used to be Murakami, but I currently prefer Cortazar. I am open to new book proposals 😉
I watch mostly Netflix. I love Spanish series such as Elite or La casa de papel but I am fan of Sex Education and BoJack Horseman too 🌻
