Hey, I am Yanyu from China. Currently I am working holiday in New Zealand.

Back in China, I was an editor in China National Television website for three years. After that, I moved to United Stated and lived there for one year and a half, mainly in Seattle, NY and Wanshinton.

I love travel, photography, hiking and yoga. And I find meeting people and sharing thoughts a very exciting thing to do in my life, though I still struggle to express myself correctly and spontaneously;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is totally new to me. It’s a different life style I think. It'll help me to explore a place locally which is I deadly would like to do, like meeting local friends, learning the local culture and sharing each other's stories, otherwise I might never got to experience. Besides, it can help to save the fee of accommodation. Why not?

TRAVEL—I like travel the most. Going to different places and talking with different people makes me stay conscious and happy.

PHOTOGRAPHY—And almost every traveler likes photography!! Recently bought a film camera but later found out it's too much to print out the films ugh...

Yoga-- really good to human body. Try very hard to practice it and excited about the new progress my body can do.

I like Vincent which is a song written as a tribute to Vincent Van Gogh.

Kick is a good movie and impressive in my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say it was paragliding in Pokhara, Nepal. It's really an awesome experience floating in the sky for half an hour!!

I would love to teach you Chinese, both Mandarin and Cantonese.
