ABOUT ME

I am still a Chinese high school student who next year will go to U.S. university. I am a easy-going, passionate, optimistic, enthusiastic, friendly, hospitable and independent person, which is how my friends usually describe me. I am crazy about traveling. I have almost visited all my interested cities in China. So I think I am pretty much familiar with China. If you are curious about China and want to travel to China, you are welcome and I can be your tour guide for free. Also, I have been to America for a month. It was a very impressive trip and my first time abroad. I traveled with my friends without our parents. I plan to visit Europe when I graduate from high school next summer. I want to travel to France, Italy, Grace, Switzerland, Denmark etc. I always traveled by train and airplane, so this trip I want to travel by ship. I like ocean very much!

I like watching movies and listening to music. My favorite pop stars are Avril Lavigne, Taylor Swift and Kate Perry. My favorite movie stars are Johnny Depp, Robert John Downey Jr and Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightly and so on. Besides, I also enjoy reading. Since I like traveling, most my books are about traveling. Because I am still a student, I have little time to travel, what I can do is by reading to travel overseas. I also like to take beautiful pictures. In my bedroom, I have lots of photo albums.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I used to be a tutor in a countryside primary school. The poor little kids there have very limited resource to study and live in bad condition. So I sold eggs which is bought from their family to raise money for them. I sold eggs in a cold winter. Although it was really cold, when I thought the happy faces of the kids, I felt proud and satisfied. In fact, we did not so much money, which is only enough to buy them backpacks and quilts. From this experience, I learned a lot. I know how hard to make money. Also, I find teaching is quite tired but interesting.

I had a internship in one of the international banks. Since when I am in college, I want to major in something related to finance. It lasted for 5 days. During this time, I am taught how to apply for a job, how to write yourself a perfect resume, how to response in a job interview, how to behave in a work place, I mean, what to wear, what to say and do to get along with your boss and colleagues. Also, I was told about the history and development of the bank and how it generally operate. The outdoor activities are playing golf and making cookies in a cafe. It was a valuable experience for me. Because I make lots of friends and learnt a lot for my future career.

Since I am interested in traveling, this summer break, I organize a project called International Tourism, which is a survey that my team members and I asked the foreigners about their opinions and advices about their trip in China. We made a questionnaire to let them fill in. After that we made a presentation and wrote a report. I think I not only practiced my spoken English, but also made me more brave and confident.
