Hi, my name is Yaoyao and I'm from China. I'm a student and I'm studying now in Bayreuth, Germany for master degree. My major is in business and administration. I've been living in Germany Since oct. 2015.
I like traveling and meeting new friends. I've travelled to Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Estonia and Finland.
This summer I've stayed in Finland for 6 weeks to do a volunteer work. I worked as a teacher in a primary school in Finland. My job was about anti-bully that is a serious issue in the whole world. The students and I all had great time together. Besides, I was very lucky to have a lovely host family in Helsinki. My host family treated me as their own family member. My whole time in Finland was super great. My best experience ever!
In my spare time I like cooking and jogging. I can cook many different Chinese dishes. If you want, I would love to cook for you.
Losing weight is an important theme for every girl like me. Every week I jog 4-5 times and every time about 5 km, well, 5Km is already too much for me😅. But I have to do it since I really like eating and sleeping. Yeh, I really like sleeping. I mean, basically I can fall in sleep everywhere as long as I want to and I sleep early and get up late (don't judge me😋haha).
I'm a positive girl. I love my life. Everyday is a new day!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Chinese food. If you want, I can cook some real Chinese dishes that you can not eat in any Chinese restaurants in Europa.
If you want to learn Chinese, I can also teach you. Since Chinese is totally different from other languages, maybe you would like to know something about it.
I've travelled to many different countries. We can share our experiences with each other.
I'm interested in different culture. I like to compare different cultures when I'm in a new country. And I always find something interesting.
I like kids. My host family in Finland have 3 kids. We had great time together. And my students in Finland also enjoyed time with me. I know how to play with kids and I know how to make them happy. So if you have kids, I'm sure we'll have great time together.
