Heyy there! I’m Yaren – a 22-year-old medical student from Izmir, Turkey, constantly inspired by people, places, and small moments.
I’ve been solo traveling for a while now, and each trip has left me with amazing memories and lots of unexpected friendships. I’m not a big fan of rushing through touristy spots – I love slow travel: wandering around, taking random turns, and keeping things spontaneous.

I’m into photography (just recently started learning the technical side🥲), dancing (I went through a serious salsa/bachata phase ahaha), camping, and trying out random hobbies like juggling or poi. And yoga… well, more like rolling around on a mat with a friend and laughing half the time😂

All of my Couchsurfing experiences so far have been very warm, fun, and unforgettable – and I hope to keep adding to that list!

I really love meeting spontaneous people at a spontaneous time, learning about their crazy experiences and lifestyles… I have lots of dreams that keep my adventurous spirit alive(like cycling in the bohemian atmosphere of Latin America or living in a van) and thanks to the people in this app, I’ll get a little closer to these dreams.
