About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To build and establish new connections, create stronger communities and, ultimately, change perceptions.
ABOUT ME
"Jared's a great guy. He's calm, patient, optimistic and open-minded."
"Jared's the funniest guy ever! I love his impressions!"
Like those faux quotes above imply, I'm just a happy guy excited to learn about the world while bettering myself and those around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I lived in Jerusalem and then New York, I offered my couch to some cool people I met along the way. I loved meeting new people and sharing new experiences... laughing, listening to awesome stories!
And *then* I found out about couchsurfing!
I have since couchsurfed in Munich, Cologne and LA- amazing experiences, highly recommended!
Interests
I really like to laugh (and I do my best to make others laugh as well). I like to speak to others about topics about which *they* are passionate. I think that generally brings out the best in others and allows me to learn.
I like sports. I am not the most athletic guy in the world, but I play basketball regularly and enjoy the Knicks, Mets, NY Football Giants, NY Rangers, the Cornell Big Red and the St. John's Red Storm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Given that Couchsurfing is travel related, I'll go with that topic:
1) The incredible views/tranquility in Sinai, Egypt. Lovely, quiet beaches with beautiful mountainous backdrops. Simply breathtaking.
2/3) I gotta work on this one :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Turkey
