That's the hardest part of the profile! Okay so let's start with my name; my complete name is Yaroslava, a Slavic name as probably some one can guess, I was born in Ukraine and than I moved with my family to Italy and now I'm studying in Germany but let's return to my name! Slava means glory and it's a quite common Slavic name so that's the reason why I prefer to be called Slava by my parents and in Ukraine in general, while in Italy I prefer to be called Yaro.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never been a big traveler. I like to go around and visit new cities meet new people and get to know about local art, music and food but I still haven't visited a lot of countries. But now I'm doing my Erasmus exchange in Germany and I'm trying to visite as more as possible! I'm on couch surfing because I really would like to travel not just to be a tourist, I would like to get to know about the city by local people and not just visiting the big monuments and taking photos that I can find already on google!
