ABOUT ME

I'm fascinated by the world. Sometimes I spend a night reading Wikipedia, be it about nature, technology, history or just some distant place, and I'm struck with awe at all the wonders that await just beyond my door. At these times I just want drift about, soak and absorb everything the universe has to offer.
About a year ago I decided that I really ought to pursue this side of me, thus I ended up here.

I want to explore the world and its sights, cultures and people. I love meeting new people, forming bonds and memories. I look forward to meeting other couchsurfers!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to make the world a better place. Other than my curiosity, that's my main drive. I tend to wonder how I could amend some of the wrongs of this world, but I make sure that it doesn't prevent my enjoyment of all the nice things around me.

Also, I'm vegan (that means I don't consume products derived from animals).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only surfed, never hosted. I don't have any place I can actually call home, but I hope I'd be able to reciprocate in the future. In the mean time, I hope I manage at least to entertain my hosts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted twice so far, and both were really great. Can't wait for more! I've also been to several CS meetings, which were also a nice way to meet people.

兴趣

I'm interested in technology, mathematics, music, languages and people. I enjoy spending time with fun people, laughing and being somewhat silly. I like dancing to trashy pop music. Sometimes I just enter a cooking frenzy.

I like classical music and musical theatre. I sometimes go to the opera, when funds allow it. On the books front, I like 19th century novels and Tolkien.

I've taking a helicopter flight over the Fiordland in New Zealand's South Island. That place is just breathtaking! Most of the spots there are entirely unreachable by land, unless you're willing to climb immense cliffs.

I'm happy to teach maths and computer science stuff. I also know some elementary physics. I could also help you with your Hebrew, of course, if you're inclined to study it.
I'd love to get some help with my German, especially from Germans (the Swiss are nice and all, but it's not the same!) It would also be awesome if someone taught me a bit about fixing cars, it's a really useful skill to have.
