Hey! I am Yasemin from Turkey. I'm a senior Environmental Engineering student in Istanbul. I spent 1 year in Milan, Italy as an Erasmus exchange student. I love traveling, learning things about cultures and making international friends. I can speak Turkish and English fluently and a little bit of Italian :) I like painting in my free time 😇

I believe that when you pretend like a local in the city, the vacation goes amazing! I don't like to do classic touristic things so one of the best way is spending my time with local people or people who leaves in the city for a time! That's why I'm here!

Music, Movies, and Books

Tom Odell, Hozier, Harry Styles and James Arthur are some singers that I enjoy listening, my favourite movies are Notting Hill, Night at the Museum, Grown Ups, Bridget Jones and Spiderman 1-2-3, and I like to read detective and mystery stories more than anything and my favourite books are Rizzoli and Isles Series by Tess Gerritsen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my Erasmus in Milan, Italy and it was one of the best experience that I've ever done! I met so many people from different countries, traveled in Europe (I planned everything by myself and visited more than 10 countries), and had so much fun! I am very glad that!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you interested in painting, I would teach you couple of tips and paint together! Also I can teach you some Turkish :) You never know when you'll need it! I would like to learn about the city and experience to local things! We can talk about art and movies!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my Erasmus memories ( I have quite good memories about it! 😂 ). I'm a good listener and enjoy small talk! We can visit museums together!
