ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing person. I am open to everyone and like to exchange my experiences with the rest of the world (and of course, I like to hear things of other poeple too). I really like to travel around and meet new people. Also people with different thoughts and different lifestyles.

Enjoying life is my goal. And I think you can do that, also by seeing the 'little things' in life.
I believe everyone can be happy, and that you yourself are the one who is (mostly) responsible for that.

My life in the Netherlands is kind of busy. I am always doing something, planning something. I like to do sports. My new love at the moment is Wakeboarding (for the ones who do not now: it's like snowboarding, but on the water. Like waterskiing). Next to that I do fitness, I play Icehockey (at a really low level) and I do whatever that makes me feel good and stay fit.

When I am not studying, I like to be with my friends, going to Restaurants, stay with family, be active in a windsurfing club, work hard, go to festivals and I like to explore new cities/museums.

Currently I am traveling through America because it was always my dream to come to this fascinating country. I enjoy to discover all the differences, the bigger-better-attitude and I hope to learn the things that cannot be teached at school/university.

PHILOSOPHY

I need to think about this longer, but what first enters my mind:
Be responsible, be careful for others, stay healty, take the 'middle-way' in addition to the extremes & that's how you will succeed in life!

I offer my own couch/bed in the Netherlands, but I also like to meet new people to stay at their houses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Till now I stayed with 2 families, but I just met them 'in real life', not on this website. I found it a great opportunity to meet great people, get to know their living & at the same time discover their city. It's wonderful!

Very bad at the moment, but I like the Notebook & The Phantom of the Opera. I saw also the Lion King (musical) in Vegas which was great.

Las Vegas! Hmm.. I thought I knew more. It's probably so amazing that I cannot remember it anymore. Well I will remember it if you ask about it ;).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some interesting stories to tell about Psychology!! I like to speak about Religion, although I consider myself not to be religious (I still believe in some ..thing.. just ask). Since I am in America I learned alot about food, organic Food. So that's what I can share!
Of course, I can also teach you a lot about Europe and all the different European countries.
