I’m a designer and researcher with a deep curiosity for how people live, connect, and create meaning in different parts of the world. I’m
a PhD scholar, and design assistive technologies for people who need them, but beyond the lab, I find myself mostly travelling, learning from everyday encounters and spontaneous friendships.

I’ve backpacked solo across India on a shoestring budget, run marathons for the joy of pushing limits, and co-designed with communities and clinicians to build things that matter. Travel, to me, is less about sightseeing and more about insight-gathering: conversations over home-cooked meals, stories shared on long walks, and the quiet generosity of strangers.

I’m currently chasing a dream, to visit 30 countries before I turn 30 and along the way, I hope to share skills, trade ideas, and offer good company. I believe Couchsurfing makes travel human again. It reminds us that hospitality isn’t a transaction; it’s a practice of mutual trust, openness, and everyday kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even since I backpacked Eastern-USA in summers of 2017 and tried Couchsurfing for the first time, I,ve been hooked. The hotel experience can be of course more relaxing and secure, but maybe that's the thing I don't like, the certainty, that you leave from point A to B and that's it, no additional value added to your person, no new people met, new challenges, no nothing, because everything had been set from before.
