ABOUT ME

Traveling has pretty much been my whole life.. my dad is in the Army and by the time I came to college I had moved 11 times in 18 years. The excitement of living in and seeing new places turned into a passion!

I graduated high school in Puerto Rico and wanted to get off the island for college. So for the past four years I have lived in Tallahassee Fl. Studying Business at Florida State University (GO NOLES!) Moving here without knowing anyone and not being close to my family was a challenge but I learned a lot from it and I've made some amazing friends along the way.

I get asked a lot about my name so I thought I'd add this as a little fun fact. My parents got the name Yashira from the song 'Yashira Marie' which Julio Angel wrote for his daughter.

PHILOSOPHY

Life isn't about money, it's not about how many materialist things you own. It's about the experiences you've had, the people you've met, and the memories you've shared. I want to know myself better than I do now.
