ABOUT ME
As probably most of the people on this site I'm quite sociable. And as most of the people on this site I know we're are few who has the privilege to move around the world like we do. I work as theater director and a playwright with my base all over the globe, trying to make a little more sense of this place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only done Couchsurfing "professionally" here at CS a few times, but the roads have always taken me to the right couches anyway - either from meeting someone on a bus or through friends of friends. When I have time in Norway I host fellow Couchsurfers in my stylish and cozy camper-van.
Interests
I'm always up for a new adventure and I enjoy dragging people along on my own. Norwegian as I am, hiking and outdoors are favorites and I have also been leading wild mushroom courses when I'm up north. A sunny Sunday can't be better spent than on my motorbike or on a beach with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have always loved music. If you ask my friends they would probably say I'm addicted. When I was in my twenties, I traveled around Scandinavia as a DJ and I still enjoy what I played back then: trance, electro and house music mixed with electronic pop and classics. Right now I have Helios in my ears writing this in a small cafe' in Oslo, so the taste is wide. Movies and books are one of my greatest sources of inspiration, but few things make me feel as happy as a good beat on a sweaty dance-floor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't pick just one. That would be impossible.
Let's share few of our adventures over a beer instead.
Teach, Learn, Share
Normally I write when I travel, and my greatest source of inspiration is the people I meet on my journeys.
And that journey has made me do many strange things and taken me to many strange places. Making theater for two years in one of the worst prisons on this earth is a good example, saving cats out of trees during my two years as a professional fireman is another, or being the first white guy in a remote village in Myanmar short time after the tsunami destroyed the area.
Let me put it like this, I'm sure a few of my stories will amuse you :-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a very chilled guest, and host for that sake. If you have time to hang out, I'd be honored but if you can't, no worries. I would however like to invit for dinner out one of the evenings and If you ever considering going to Norway you should know that I'm (in)famous for my Vigeland sculpturepark -tours, which normally include a few facts, some doubtful rumors, and most certainly some burlesque lies just for the entertainment. You can chose the normal version, or the highly recommended gay edition!
