I'm a very easygoing and open person, who's always happy to meet and get to know new people.
I'm deeply curious and love to learn and discover new things and explore the world around me!

Currently on my first solo interrail trip and never tried couchsurfing, so I'm a bit of a rookie in this. But I've wanted to try it for a long time and hope someone is willing to take me in!

In my daily life I bartend at a craft beer bar in Copenhagen and work as a light technician on the side at a venue I've been volunteering at for the last 4 years!
I play bass (tiny bit of guitar also) and like nerding out and discovering new music, movies and books to delve into!!

After hearing so much good about it from my friends I had to try it for myself! And I love meeting people from all over the world!

Music is a big and essential part of my life as I both work around it and play a bit myself too.

But I generally have a big interest in the arts and philosophical aspects of life and feel it is a huge part of who I am as a person. And I also just like to enjoy the good and simple things in life, like a well crafted beer, a good home cooked meal or just seeing the sunset on a beautiful day :)

Some of my favorite artists/bands include:
The Doors, Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Fugazi, Morphine, Primus, Massive Attack, Portishead, Pharcyde, The Pixies, Parliament/Funkadelic, Gil-Scott Heron and many many more.
I'm VERY enthusiastic about music. I like almost everything from ambient to jazz to hiphop to extreme death metal and everything in between and beyond.

My maybe top 3 movies of all time are Blade Runner (1982), Trainspotting and The Big Lebowski.
Generally just a huge fan of cinema from exceptionally bad B-movies to extremely avant-garde arthouse stuff. In a bit of 80's B-movie sci-fi horror phase lately, so lots of Carpenter and early Peter Jackson.

Currently reading "Passionate Declarations" by Howard Zinn and just finished reading "Ubik" by Philip K. Dick.

My 3 favorite books are "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip K. Dick, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson and "Roadside Picnic" by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky.
Been mainly reading sci-fi and philosophical works, but I'm open to anything be it fiction or non-fiction, as long as it's a good book!
Books that have had a big influence on me are "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" by Nietzsche and "Steppenwolf" by Hermann Hesse.

One amazing thing I've done: Helped arrange the annual Bike Wars in Copenhagen once. Quite a chaotic and fun experience. Never again. (definitely doing other events in the future tho)

One amazing thing I've seen: The sunset with clear skies over calm mirror-like water. Breathtaking every time it happens.
