About Me
Hi! I'm Yasmín, a biologist originally from Argentina. I'm passionate about nature, outdoor life, and learning from the people and places I encounter. I truly enjoy cultural exchanges, long walks, meaningful conversations, and the little details that make everyday life special.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered Couchsurfing in my English classes and I loved it because I started traveling alone. I love the idea of meeting new people from different places willing to show me their city and landscapes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music—sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong era because I have a deep love for '70s music. I'm not really into movies or TV shows, so I wouldn’t say I have any strong preferences there. When it comes to books, I love so many that it’s hard to choose favorites: Cortázar, Hesse, Quiroga, Larsson, Zafón, Bioy Casares, Arlt... I enjoy a wide variety of things and find it hard to define myself by any one specific taste.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I owe many of the most incredible experiences in my life to my profession. I've had the privilege of working in several national parks, conducting research in biodiversity and conservation.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d love to share what I know about ecology, biodiversity, and nature conservation. I can also teach some Spanish (or Italian!) and even help with relaxation/stretching routines—I’ve picked up a few tricks from my partner, who's a sports trainer. I'm curious about everything that connects people to their land, culture, and ways of living. I’d love to learn more about traditional recipes, local history, sustainable living practices, and anything you’re passionate about.
I enjoy deep conversations, long walks in nature, and simple meals prepared with care. I believe in the richness of small moments and the beauty of exchanging stories, perspectives, and laughs
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good company, curiosity, and respect for your space and time. I'm happy to cook a meal inspired by Argentine flavors, share stories from my travels and work in wild natural places, or simply enjoy quiet moments if that’s what you prefer. I’m tidy, easygoing, and always open to lending a hand with anything around the house. For me, sharing a home is about creating a warm and respectful exchange.
