I love meeting new people and learning about their lives. Even if I don't have much in common with someone, I usually find a way to relate to them and enjoy their company. I love traveling and meeting travellers and sharing cultural experiences- especially food and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's always nicer to visit a place where you know a local who can share their experience of their hometown with you. I am always happy to share my time and space with other members of the global traveller community.

Interests

I work online in tourism, but I have been a chef for ten years and I love cooking and eating. My favourite thing to do when I am traveling is to try different foods, visit food markets and learn new cooking techniques.

I also studied Zoology and I have worked in tropical rainforests and on coral reefs. I love the natural world, but I have a real interest in human stories and learning about new cultures.

I love roots music- reggae and dancehall and I love to dance - Dancehall, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once snorkelled a few meters away from two adult humpback whales and a little calf. The mother and the calf looked me in the eyes and I knew it was the best wildlife moment I would ever have in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook for and with others, to learn new recipes and to share stories. I love sharing cooking with others and preparing a meal together. If you like to dance Latin, I love this!
