ABOUT ME

I'm a considerate houseguest and friend. I keep my word and am very interested in other people. Lately, I hear frequently that I'm brave for quitting my job last year and taking a year off to explore what I want. I'm guessing that I'm in good company in regards to this in the couchsurfing community:-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS and am looking forward to my first couch surfing experience. Connection is very important to me and I think travelling is a much better experience when connected to caring people.

Interests

cooking real food- no processed stuff! I love to cook for and with people. I think food is a wonderful way to learn about other people's cultures. I've taken three Thai cooking classes and one Cambodian since January. If I could practice, I'm sure I'd retain more of what I learned.Salsa dancing has been a passion of mine for 10 years and I love to share it wherever I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The view of Krabi from the big boat I took from Krabi to Phuket (most recently).
The kindness of strangers- I got invited to a Thai wedding when a couple who I met on a day trip "adopted" me for the day.
