I live back in New Mexico now, I was in Canada for a while for my PhD. I was working with Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh as part of my PhD research at University of Toronto. I am sometimes in Chicago, sometimes in New Mexico, sometimes traveling for work in India, Sierra Leone, Guatemala or Kenya where the projects I run are...all pretty cool places. I lived in Mexico and Bolivia for 10 years. I can't stop exploring (even though I miss my home in Albuquerque!) and couch surfing has been a lifesaver, I enjoy surfing and hosting whenever I am in a spot to host.

I am about to travel for work to India and Sierra Leone then a week in France. I am on the CS search again for good vibes and friendly places to stay and chill out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All good, as long as we are clearly communicating and patient with one another. I love the CS vibe, and seeing how different cities and countries accept couchsurfers (or not). I have found Mexico and El Salvador to be particularly inviting, and I had such a hard time in Iceland! It was crazy!
