About Me

I have yet to travel much, but have always been fascinated to learn more about the different cultures throughout the world.
I enjoy hot sunny days as much as I do love a storm or chilly weather.
I have recently been getting back in tune with nature; going on hikes and treks into the rainforests of Malaysia - and it is wonderful!
If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be pizza!
I sing a little as well :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music!
Favorite movie/book genres include anything thriller, horror or action and suspense, sci-fI - am a big fan of scaring the shit out of myself (sometimes).
Some of my all-time favorite books: Gravity (Tess Gerritsen), Vermillion Eye (Tunku Halim), Under The Skin (Michel Faber).
I used to read a lot of poetry. Some of my favorite poems are 'Forgotten Language' and 'Where the Sidewalk Ends' by Shel Silverstein, 'If You Forget Me' by Pablo Neruda, 'A Dream Within a Dream' by Edgar Allan Poe and 'Before There Was You' by Lang Leav.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one time I dived into a pool, overestimating its depth and busted my chin open on the pool floor. I bled profusely; survived. It was a pretty cool dive though.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach English, help you get better conversation-wise. Also Malay, and some swear words in Mandarin or Cantonese.
I would like to learn how people live on their side of the world. It would be cool to also learn how to cook a dish or sing a song from your home country.
We can share silly conversations, embarrassing antics and impromptu adventures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm pretty alright with cooking and am happy to help around the house where needed
