ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back, friendly person who is learning to ask the right questions.
I spent 5 months in India teaching and performing circus to underprivileged children, which gave me an insatiable want to learn and experience as much as I can. I also spent some time travelling around Africa and Europe, which provided me with many friends, questions and experiences. Following my Occupational Therapy degree in Newcastle, England, I'm now moving to London to live and work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a few surfers in Bristol and Newcastle and have surfed in many countries, both officially through CS and a few times on a potentially stupid whim. I have also recently discovered that CS can give you a lot within your own city too, and I've thoroughly enjoyed becoming involved in Newcastle's CS group.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love it. I think it's so nice how this whole system can be built on simply being friendly and trusting; giving and therefore receiving in return. If only the rest of the world were more like it!

兴趣

Travelling (of course), dancing (especially Forró), music, writing, art, circus, sun, fireside, friendship, experiencing new things, but mostly just being with good company.

-Favourite books are still being discovered, but amongst the treasured so far is Ernest Simba, The Little Buddha, Momo, Hello Mister God, This is Anna.

Living with a local family in a little village in Uganda is definitely one of my current life highlights.

I love dancing, in any form except serious competitive snobby forms. I particularly love dancing Forró, and welcome anyone who will dance with me with open arms.
I'm very willing to teach what I know in circus and I am also keen to learn anything anyone else can show me.
I would love to learn any music. I'm particularly keen on guitar and piano.
And I like to share stories and ideas and philosophies.
To be honest, I'll teach what I can, I'll share what we can, and I'll learn what you can.
