关于我

I work as a nurse. I worked in a hospital for 10 years but I’m now a Outdoors Practitioner Nurse working in a…forest! Never thought you would find a nurse working in a forest right? Yup that’s me!

I know politics, but I dislike it, and politicians as well. To me the concept of a nation-state is such a farce; we are all humans, we all have the same aspirations, dreams and hopes. We laugh, we cry, we get hungry. Governments don't necessarily represent the people be it elected or not, autocratic or democratic.

As a measure of typical human sanity, I tend to laugh at my own lame jokes, who doesn't?

Not really interested in touristic sites per se, nor am I on a crusade to see all the countries of the world and fill up my passport…for me the best way to see how a country functions is to see how they shop for...FOOD!

Most of my free time (during work at least) is spent daydreaming about travelling and planning for my next trip!

I'll fall for all things natural and historical; throw me in a garden or museum and I'll feel right at home. I also have an interest in anthropology that is, the study of other human beings and their cultures. Photography also interests me even though I'm terrible in it. And not to mention the vacuum cleaner that has the water turbo feature in it.

To note: I’m not interested in meeting or hosting any fascists, zionists or their sympathisers for that matter. Thanks.

Same reason as most of you :)

To me, it's not about how many countries that you have travelled to but the experience and most importantly, friendships that were gained.

And this thing about “Digital Nomads” and TOURIST VS TRAVELLER…frankly, to make these distinctions just makes one sound pretentious, every tourist is a traveller vice versa. A digital nomad is basically just a tourist doing remote work and has the privilege to do so. And if you enter a country on a tourist visa, then you’re a tourist. Period.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I can’t really decide on one but here is a few if you guys think it’s amazing lol

1) Being in Tutankhamun's tomb alone with his mummy for a magical 15 minutes.

2) I've delivered 6 babies in an ambulance and helped bring a couple of people back to life (I was a medic prior to being a nurse).

3) I stayed for 3 days trekking with a Bakhtiari nomad family in Zagros mountains in Iran.

4) Visited 10/38 provinces in Indonesia in 2023!

I love making new friends, and can assure you that I am a very good penpal and I send postcards to all my penpals overseas, kinda weird but it's a hobby 🤑
