ABOUT ME

Lets see, I was born the youngest of 3 brothers, in the southern port city of Karachi, Pakistan. I've been one for wandering from the beginning, I had already started my short-lived journey with a scrap dealer at the tender age of 3 when my mom noticed her son was missing, just in time to get me back. Then I got lost at a fair when I was 4. Needless to say, that was the last time my folks took me to a fair.

I love dogs and most other animals. Big cats are very cute but I've heard a lion roar not very far from me and I nearly pissed my pants! I wish humans were like dogs when it comes to displaying their feelings.

I've realised that I'm a whatever-I'm-doing-a-holic. Its all about the moment, I get very involved, whether its work, leisure or love. Although some may not agree about the latter.

PHILOSOPHY

Always remember WHY I have embarked on a journey and not lose that reason along that journey. For it is the reason that brings me to my destination and not the medium.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to participate whenever I can by chatting with people and offering my couch or meet them for coffee or beer. I hope to do more because this much is quite pathetic, honestly speaking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just had two. Good memories. The first encounter; I didn't have much to do with it when it all started. My friends found this site and met some like minded folks here. We all met in Phuket and had a great time together. The second encounter was with a lovely lady from Eastern Europe and her friend from Saudi Arabia. I'm glad I stumbled upon this fantastic site.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove on the Karakoram highway at an altitude of 16800 ft above sea level. It is the highest road in the world. I've travelled to a region in Northern Pakistan; known as the "Roof of the world", this place has the more than 80% of the world's tallest peaks.
