Hello there!! I'm Yasufumi, call me Yasu, I'm a college student studying law & politics at Hokkaido University.
Since I used to live in the States(Cincinnati,OH) in my childhood, I speak perhaps a little of English,and now started to study Spanish as my 3rd language...(muy dificil...haha
Well i do have a passion to learn languages, so if you meet me or stay with me, please teach me yours, I'll teach you mine:-)

I'm a person of a calm but open-minded character, and love to have conversations. Seems to be a paradox, but not always:)

I have traveled to many places(most of them are inside japan..but also abroad of course!!)and I'm looking forward to share&exchange cultures, language, and wonderful experiences with you over a meal or a cup of coffee.(I'm fond of coffees!

A big fan of football( not american...), interested in snowboarding and Spanish.
So we can go for a football match if there's any, or go snowboarding in the winter if you want:)

I'm now planning to travel abroad for some 1 month or a bit longer... it'll be a big adventure for me to go somewhere all alone, but feeling passionated!
I would like to see places that usual tourists won't visit where only locals know...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really new on Couchsurfing, overheard from my friend. This application gives me a perfect match towards what I want to experience... traveling not in the usual way.

Travel like a local, as said in CS, attracted me so strong !!
Thats why I'm here, longing for fantastic moments with surfers all around the world!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've drove to Abashiri, the far east part of Hokkaido in the winter, snowboarding in the winter mountains, and fishing on the frozen lake, and also sleeping and shivering in the car for a night while outside was like -25℃ and -15℃ inside the car:)
It was quite a bit of a blast!!
