CURRENT MISSION

I am very busy at work, so normal don't have much time to travel. I usually would take the chance of business travel and stay in the city or nearby cities for a few more days. Till now, I visited many places in China, including hiking, and Thailand. Now this is my first time being in UK, and would have 6 days in total, arrive in London on 22th April and depart from Manchester on 28th April. Hope during this trip, I could have chance to stay with local people and make some local friends. I would probably come back to UK again the coming years, due to my work. And I would be happy to share my experience in China, including the Chinese systems, culture, cooking, painting, music, art etc. If there is a chance, I would also be happy to host the people who helped me in China at my home, Wuhan China. There will always be chances for us to meet again.

ABOUT ME

I lived in North China for 4 years, South China for 5 years, and now in middle china - Wuhan, which is close but a different city from where I was born.

I am 32 years old now. In the past years after education, I used to be an English teacher, worked for Ericsson in China, and now in British Consulate in China.

I have friends from many countries, who visited china for studying or working. I have never used CS before. If I could successfully get a sofa during this trip in UK, it will be the first time I use it. I have a friends who is using CS very often and hosting people who visiting Wuhan. I did not follow his practice is because my current apartment in China is not very big. But my new apartment would be ready next year, so would be big for guests.

PHILOSOPHY

In all my life till now, I stay in a very comfort zone. The biggest change was to move to a northern city for university which is more than 1000 miles away from my hometown. After that I moved to south china and during which took a trip to Thailand. For all those trips and moves, I was alone. So, even I have not been very experience in traveling yet, all my past travels are done by myself. So I am quite confident for this trip in UK. Leaving the comfort zone and get new challenges is my philosophy.

i joined CS in early 2014, because I was thinking about making new friends in this ways. But due to the change of my job, I moved to a new city and started to be too busy to log in again, until now.

If you like to visit somewhere in china I could recommend places. Although I am not very good at cooking, I could cook some Chinese dishes. I would also taught you simple Chinese words if interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am familiar with everything in china, like society, law, people, cities, culture, art, really everything. But I am not so familiar those of other countries. If you are interested in China, we would have a lot to talk about.
And to meet and talk with different people, learn about different lives are an amazing part of CS.
