Warm, friendly, and easy-going. It's evident I grew up in Southern California, but I've spent the past eight years getting to know other corners of the United States.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(Amazing Things I've Done) Influence the making of policy.

(Amazing Things I've Seen) The Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo was one - when I saw men so focused at their work, I thought to myself, this is what it's about - to be just so into that one thing that you're doing. Another, a stark contrast, visiting downtown Detroit, MI, left me in awe. The ruins of a once thriving city - the remains of a rich culture, inhabited by a mere fraction of the population it once held.
