i love being in nature ... gardens, sea and mountains. i love dancing, good music and good food! i want to feel peaceful and yet totally alive.

i've been living in greece for the last 10+ years and i'm currently exploring other options ...

Interests

i am passionate about sailing, all kinds of dancing (especially salsa, tango, and tribal fusion bellydance). i love gardening (with a special interest in medicinal herbs, wild edibles, and organic farming - everyone should have access to fresh food), hiking and living outside, i do vipassana meditation and ashtanga yoga (i like tai chi too and would like to start aikido!) i do bodywork and i'm always interested in expanding my knowledge and skills, especially in traditional chinese medicine and energy based therapies. i like to cook and feed people :) i like working with kids too :)

Music, Movies, and Books

traditional greek, indian and middle eastern music, jazz, latin (esp salsa, tango and latin jazz), bluegrass. have soft spots for tori amos, tool, and norah jones. i haven't had a TV in over 10 years and i'm pretty out of touch with things like movies, although i like kids' animation. i read a lot ... all kinds of things, lots of non-fiction

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach advanced english and beginning greek. i'm not a yoga or tai chi teacher but i can comfortably share what i do. i would love to become a better dancer, i love all kinds of dance but have a special interest in salsa, tango, and tribal fusion bellydance. i like garden/building/diy projects and have both things to offer and learn :) i can competently contribute to a sailing crew and i'm always interested in learning more
