Hey guys!

I am Yejin from Korea(South Korea or Republic of Korea whatever it is 🙄) currently traveling Europe for the first time of my life!
But this time, I am not just traveling. I have done my first international volunteer at the Italian alps called "Dolomites" and I am wwoofing in south France at the moment.
I lived in Australia for 2 years as a working holiday and I am going to Canada for another working holiday this August.

Now you would probably say like "yeah you are moving around a lot " and I got this wanderlust gene from my family.
When Korea was one of the poorest country in 1960s(or 70s), my aunt went to Germany and worked in the hospital as a nurse for years to support her family.
In 1980s, most of my cousins moved to California to live better life in there and they are still living in the U. S.
And my sister, she flies for Korean Air as a flight attendant since 2015. And when we start to make a conversation, instead of asking "how are you? " we ask "where are you? "

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more I travel the more I feel that I want to live like a local when I am traveling. I am kind of sick of going somewhere only tourists go(but a huge fan of Effiel Tour 😂)... I admit that that's also big part of voyage but I want something different.
I would love to communicate with locals and find out what they really do or go and have the best time with them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- The night sky full with stars, countless shooting stars, milky way in New Zealand

- Amazing sunrise and sunset on the temples in Myanmar

- Finally got my DRIVER LICENSE at the age of 25 lol

If you want, I am willing to teach you some Korean. This includes daily basis conversation and slangs for sure😉

If you are interested in Korean cuisine, i will be happy to share my recipes or my family recipes(my granny👵 is from North Korea)
