About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Let it be, or how I learned to stop worrying and loving the free life.
ABOUT ME
I'm no experienced couchsurfer, but after my experiences with hitchhiking through Europe I decided hitchhiking couches would be an even more satisfying activity. My girlfriend recommended couchsurfing and I've been trying since. I'd love to meet anyone who can show me around town he or she knows by heart, people are way more interesting to see than the structures surrounding them.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not met any couchsurfers as of yet - with the exception of the one living in my room during the time I'll be gone - so I can't comment on this yet. However, during our trip through France in the last couple of weeks (04-03-2011), I and my companion have slept in a lot of backyards - avoiding the campingsites - simply by knocking on doors and asking nicely. We shared a couple of meals with some of our generous hosts, while others brought us a cup of coffee - all of them incredibly fun people. Some even offered their guestrooms and in the meantime took to other activities while we were alone in the house. Amazing experiences, and I've definitely not seen the last of this yet.
Interests
I'm a very musical person, though more of the listening than the creating part. I love a good discussion on the big questions of life, a difference in tastes or other more or less serious topics. I chose to travel to Nepal due to the need for a challenge, but I'm by no ways dedicated to sports. My biggest challenge to face as of yet will be to continue my bachelor studies, however when or how is not yet decided.
