My name is Yeon-woo Jo. I'm Korean(live in South Korea).
U can called me "Yeon-Woo" or "Yeo-noo" or just "Yeon".
I'm 22 years old(23 years old in Korean age).
I attend Myeonji Univ. and major in film, but I'm a leave of absence now.
Because I love to travel and going to the Europe.
(i'm going to traveling all of Europe in (maybe) next years(2016).)

I think I'll be more than it's now growing from the people who i met in travel.
maybe i'll be make a great film.
if i can do it, i'll be very happy, and my familly & friends, too you.

i don't say "i'm good person", but i can say to you, "i'm charmer".
because i have a lot of stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wondered about other country people when i was kid.
I imagine that a friend with foreigners, i want to talk to them. So i had pen pals.

Couchsurfing is very attractive that host and surfer trust each other!
i know it is not simply to provide a bed.
Until you're reading this my writing, you don't know me. and i don't know you.
but if i sent you to say "hello", you & i can be a good friend. That's amazing, isn't it?

i want to know you. i want to hear you. with me?

Interests

l love children and animals. (especially dogs and cats. but i love all of animals.)
I love to art. I still doing that when i was children.
i'm painting, play the music and write, take a picture, and i'm making a film now.
I like photo, movie(film), music, art, a book, fashion, etc.

also I LOVE to travel!
I'm new at the overseas tirp, but i have a lot of experience Korea trip.
if you will come to the Korea, I'll show you to Korea. :-D

I'm interest in French these days. but it's so difficult. French is very different from Korean.

and i like watching sports, especially "winter sports".
sometimes i'm watching soccer with my younger brothers.
these days i learning to skateboard for my brother. that's exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I listen to all genres of music.
However, sometimes i listen to music the day's mood. classic, jazz, k-pop & pop song, rock band... etc.
even so, I choose my favorite musicians, i like "muse", "Oasis", "Avril Lavigne", "radiohead", "maroon5", "Daughtry", etc.
Korean music is like a song in the 1970's~90's.

l wrote a story for a long time, so i mainly read a novel.
i enjoyed the foreign novel when i was a kid(maybe 6 years old).
"Harry Potter series", "Chronicles of Narnia", "Sherlock Holmes", "Alice series(Alice in wonderland)", "Phantom of the opera", "Le petite prince"...
The books have influenced my life a lot and gave me memories.
And i want to learn French for read a poem of "Arthur Rimbaud"

my favorite movies is too many to count. because the film have much more than a hobby for me.
when i'm stressed, I like that watching an action movie or hero movies, and thriller.
i love & respect a film director ; "Quentin Tarantino", "Christopher Nolan", "Edgar Wright", "Matthew Vaughn", "Park Chan-wook", "Bong Jun-ho"
and i like the movies that made in 'Michel Gondry' ; "The science of sleep(La science des reves,2005)" & "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind(2004)"

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can do it next list.
- talk to cinema(our favorite movie, my film...)
- singing together ; My singing is not bad. because I'm vocal of band and choir when i was younger.
- dancing ; I can dancing various genre.
- walk around your town
- play a board games
- bike and skateboarding
- learn to each other language
