Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Yerminson, a 22-year-old from Medellín, Colombia. I’m curious, open-minded, and passionate about learning from different people and perspectives. I love deep conversations, cultural exchange, and exploring how others live and think.
I’m currently transforming my life — I’ve studied environmental management, leadership, microbiology, languages, and aviation. I also work as a coordinator in a digital agency. I enjoy cooking, working out, exploring new places, and understanding the world beyond what we see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in genuine human connection. I want to meet people from around the world, share culture, stories, and simple but meaningful moments.
I dream of traveling the world in a humble, respectful, and honest way. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect place to start that journey — by learning from others and also offering what I can: good company, conversation, help, food, or just being there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz — it relaxes me and inspires deep thinking. I also enjoy classical music and a bit of electronic when I need energy or want to focus.
One of my favorite movies is Interstellar — I’m fascinated by space, time, and the emotional depth behind that story. I also really connected with (Book) Veronika Decides to Die because of its message about life, identity, and mental health.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Cerro Tusa (one of the highest natural pyramids in the world!) was a life-changing experience for me — physically and spiritually. Also, creating sustainable hydroponic projects to grow food with minimal resources is something I’m very proud of.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish, basic cooking, or how to grow your own plants in small spaces using hydroponics. I love sharing what I know about sustainability, environmental awareness, and Latin American culture. I’m always open to learning new things, especially from real conversations with open-minded people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help around the house, cook traditional Colombian food (or just simple meals), and share meaningful conversations. I’m happy to teach Spanish or talk about culture, nature, or any topic you’re passionate about. I believe in mutual respect, kindness, and leaving a positive footprint wherever I go.
