ABOUT ME

Rich and I live in a house in Traverse City. We are excited to meet new people traveling through our part of the world!
My personal interests include: music (especially world music, David Bowie, way too many others to list...), public and community radio, gardening, cooking exotic meals from home-grown ingredients, film, foraging, biking and hiking, exploring places near and far. Rich enjoys eating my meals, Dungeons & Dragons, working out, tinkering, and learning about alternative energy. Also, we have a cat that is precious and cuddly.

PHILOSOPHY

I've recently become very interested in rational skepticism as a personal philosophy, but I'm pretty tolerant of everyone's beliefs--as long as they are not hateful or damaging toward others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have walked across northern Spain along the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, an ancient pilgrimage route.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer advice about cooking and gardening, and how to get involved in radio production for fun and profit. I have an extensive knowledge and library of world music. I've traveled extensively in Michigan, Spain, Turkey, the state of Nayarit in Mexico, and Panama, and can offer advice about these locations.
