Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm Yevhenyi, 33 — originally from Ukraine, now based in Glasgow. I'm calm, clean, and chill to live with — zero drama, just good vibes. I’m into people with a spark in their eyes and stories that make you stop scrolling.
Outside of work, you’ll find me at the gym, cycling through backstreets, or figuring out bachata steps. I’m into slow evenings, real talk, and curious minds.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel isn’t about sightseeing — it’s about weird local stories, long dinners, and random conversations with strangers who feel like old friends.
Couchsurfing makes that magic possible. I care about mutual respect, good energy, and being present — not just “crashing for a night”.
As a guest, I’m tidy, respectful, and easygoing — I’ll clean up, be on time, and probably insist on cooking something for you (warning: it might include garlic).

Music, Movies, and Books
My playlist jumps from Pink Floyd and Teddy Swims to chill lo-fi beats and acoustic covers that sound like rainy mornings. Music fuels my moods — and my cooking.
I’m into movies that mess with your head or heart — give me a raw European drama, a smart doc, or something by Guy Ritchie.
I’m into books that shift how you see life — from Rich Dad Poor Dad to Ray Dalio’s principles on decision-making.
The last one I finished was The Words We Never Said to Each Other — heavy, emotional, and stayed with me for days.
I like stories (real or not) that make me pause and think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left behind a stable life and everything familiar to start over in a new country — just me, a backpack, no guarantees, and a fire to grow.
It was scary as hell at first. But it turned into the most empowering and real thing I’ve ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m into fitness, clean eating, and building habits that actually stick — not the cheesy “grind mindset” stuff, but real tools that help.
I love talking about how we think, grow, and deal with chaos — if you’re into psychology, philosophy or just questioning life over wine, we’ll get along.
