ABOUT ME

I am an Asian American in in my 20s. I graduated from UCLA a few years, worked in LA and I am now in between Los Angeles and Washington DC for my masters' degree. My friends would say that I am funny, laid back, interesting and worldly. They would also say that I am very loyal, kind, and have a big heart. I have a knack and talent for languages, I speak English, Mandarin Chinese, Malay, some Korean, French and Mandarin. Many of my friends say that I should become a professor of linguistics someday, or a professional in international relations. I am not sure what I will end up becoming in the future - but I hope the journey will be full of amazing adventures!!

PHILOSOPHY

Learn, live, laugh. Always reach for the stars and do not be afraid to try. I hope that when I get older I can look back at life and say "Hey, I am so glad I did that and had that wonderful experience".

I like to spend my time reading, exercising(hiking, jogging, swimming), meeting new people. I love loving a full life and I take every moment I can to enjoy learning about the world - whether it is history, culture, science etc. When it comes to traveling, I love to immerse myself in the culture of the region, learn about its cuisine, history and people.

By meeting me, I hoping to share with you all my experiences and knowledge I have garnered throughout my life. I have lived in three different countries - Malaysia(Where I was born), China(where I studied abroad) and the USA(where I currently live). I grew up as teenager in Los Angeles and have since lived here. I am happy to share with you any insights about the American culture, especially here in Los Angeles!
