ABOUT ME

Hi!
My name is Yi Ting, sounds like "eating".
I'm a graduate student in National Taiwan University.

I love being outdoor not only for the nature but also the unexpected experiences with people. Sometimes I love to travel with friends, laughing together when encountering funny things, singing when feeling free of mind, swimming when meeting the coast or lake or secret stream in mountains.

Sometimes I like to sit on a bench for many hours thinking something or watching people and the street. Sometimes I like wandering the city quietly and lonely, being embraced by architectures and passersby. And sometimes I would get lost without destinations till meeting enthusiastic people.

Most times I like to say that everyday is in bloom.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My college friend has introduced me to do before I traveled in Europe in 2013.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have been hosted by people since this is my beginning of traveling with couchsurfing. I would like to host people when going back to Taiwan.

I love activity in nature such as hiking, river tracing, rock climbing, mountaineering, which are also natural ways to meet and know people.
I like singing, and reading and hearing some stories of different cultures or history, and meet different people in different places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I swam in the river with floating ice. But I can hardly remember the following things...(remember that I'm a girl from tropical island)

I can show you the history, culture and identity of my country; to cook some Taiwanese food; to speak Chinese and even Taiwanese. Or I can take you to many beautiful nature places on this Taiwan island ＊＊

I enjoy speaking local languages taught by local people. It's always interesting to speak although it could be strange accent by me. Also I'd like to know your cultures, history, every story about you. And I'm eager to travel around, climbing, hiking, meet people during the journey.
