Overview
About Me
Hi there! I'm a newly graduated student, who majored in Applied Foreign Languages. It's basically learning to apply English on any situations, like on translation, discussion and debate, writing, reading, etc. So I hope that language barrier wouldn't be a problem when it comes to meeting new people and hosting travelers.
Also I've been learning French and Japanese for around three years. However, I wasn't diligent enough to master these two languages. But if you're also looking forward to learn Chinese. I would be more than happy to help you out.
I love drawings, and I'm currently working on portrait project. If you'd like to take a look, feel free to visit my instagram. Link: https://instagram.com/ywnchang/
Walking and jogging are two of my hobbies too. (Well, most of the time I walk instead, as a running beginner) I believe that walking on streets is the easiest way to tour around the city. (And the most budget-friendly one too) I often try jogging to shed extra pounds.
P.S. I'm currently living in Australia, so I won't be able to host travelers in either Taipei or Changhua (FYI: it's a county below Taichung).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having planned to travel solo, and I just arrived in Brisbane for around two days as currently desperate for meeting up with friends. So the information you might see here are very updated.
Interests
As I've mentioned before, I love drawings, jogging and walking around.
I love food from any culture, sweets, coffee, etc.
Though I'm a introvert, not very much of a street-person, I love learning new languages. It's like a testimony for language-major students.
I love music too, and would be very happy to know about your understanding of music. The genre that I usually listen to are pop, rock, alternatives, classic, and I'm open to any thoughts on various type.
Oh and did I mention photography? Not an expert though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Can I have two?
The first would be complete my amazing undergraduate thesis with four of my classmates on teen dating abuse/violence. Since all of us are not professional in social work nor social science, it seemed so impossible in the beginning, not to mention a two-year project. But we made it!
The second would be planing an almost-two month travel in Taiwan with one of my friends in the year of 2013. So if you are thinking of visiting Taiwan, I could give you advice on making plans, something like that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We could have a meal together on my treat! Or I could try to make some Taiwanese cuisine too. And... if you feel like to keep Taiwan dollar as memory is cool too.
