Hello Couchsurfing people, I'm currently a young Ph.D student in TIGP (Taiwan International Graduate Program) with many of my international classmates over the world.

I'm interested in meeting awesome people and making more foreign friends. I was volunteering in Taipei universiade in Main Press Center and recently trained under Taiwan Nation Museum to be an international docent.

I've been to 14 countries in Asia, American and Europe. (I visited 11 of them during attending conferences or academic activities though.) I've been to Korea and Japan multiple time and visited 20+ cities in Japan. Basically I'd travel to Japan every year and I'd like to learn Japanese if you could teach me!

As for my interests, I play volleyball for 10+ years, riden heavy motorbikes (650c.c.), delivered several 2 and 3-hr talks by myself, attended 12 scientific camps and tutored 7 students. I guess it's safe to say my life has many abundant dimensions.

Next year I'll be sponsored to visit UCLA for a year in California by Taiwan's government. So you don't hesitate to seize an opportunity to say hello to me if you're visiting Taiwan!

I could teach you Mandarin since I've done several language exchanges before (though I'm not that professional)
If you do play volleyball then we can chat about that or find a court for you to try it here

I'm currently studying in an international program so I'd like to make foreign friends!
I can share how to make a powerpoint (I have a tutorial video online! go to check it (but in Mandarin).)
I also like hiking and travelling around, so perhaps I can suggest you some local and beautiful places :)
