ABOUT ME

I am currently a PhD student at Columbia University - I have passion to clarify the rules of the nature. However, I also have an inclination to arts due to my preferences on oral music, creative writing and photography. Most importantly, I care about the people in the different communities. I would like to chat with unique guys and listen to them as well as share my story with them.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a humanist. I have an inclination to understand the world and the interactions bewteen people based on my human angle. I believe in the positive reflection process, building up the friendship with stangers. I prefer to ignore the small faults of others but focusing on the advantage of them. I admire the beauty of diversity as well as the uniqueness of myself and other individuals.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I prefer the way to travel alone. Without the barriers from the familiar links and known people, I can try my best to be embraced by the new surroundings. In my opinion, the core value of couchsurfing is not only to find somewhere to live in but to seek somewhere to sense and touch. An new host could be a preface of an amazing and unique adventure; the friendship and the exchange bewteen the host and the traveller lead to the narratives which can not be predicted and totally clarified.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once spent 40 days traveling alone in the New York City and 14 days in Taiwan with several couchsurfings during the trip. These experience help me obtain deeper understanding to the place and locals I meet.

Built up and cooperated with NGO-style student groups to save the life; the first time, we failed and lost our love; the second time, we won the battle and killed the death.
