Hey! I am a 25 year old American currently traveling through South America with my Colombian girlfriend. I am passionate about learning about new cultures and ways of life, and offering help whenever I can.

For the past 2 years I have been living in Antigua, Guatemala designing and managing the growth of a permaculture farm. I enjoy being outdoors as much as I possibly can and am passionate about kayaking, hiking, climbing, and photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people, and am especially keen on getting local knowledge. I also love learning from people who have a different worldview from myself and sharing ideas with them. I feel that couchsurfing provides me with the opportunity to not only travel affordably, but to also travel in a way that meshes with my personal interests.

I listen to a lot of 60s & 70s rock n roll, blues from all decades, soul/funk, and some new stuff too.

I love 20th century American and Latin American Lit. Steinbeck, Bukowski, Kerouac, London, Gabo, Galeano, Cortazar, Borges... the list goes on. If you have any recommendation, I’m all ears!

I follow a lot of directors: the Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Alfonso Cuaron are some of my favorites
