Things about Myself--

I'm a student studying in Boston, Finance&Accounting Major, minor in History. I'm from Changchun, which lies in the northeastern part of China (was the capital of Manchuria during the early 1900s). I was constantly traveling back and forth between the US and China over the years. I have lived in San Diego, California, for little over one year back in the days. Then I went back to my hometown until second year of high school when I moved to and studied in a small town in Southern Illinois. After graduation, I said goodbye to Mid-west and moved to the East Coast for college. Yeah, lots of moving around.

As Francis Bacon puts it :"That young men travel under some tutor, or grave servant, I allow well; so that he be such a one that hath the language, and hath been in the country before; whereby he may be able to tell them what things are worthy to be seen, in the country where they go; what acquaintances they are to seek; what exercises, or discipline, the place yieldeth. For else, young men shall go hooded, and look abroad little." One will blind and know little if there is not anyone to guide him when he travels. To have someone guide me through the places I travel is great pleasure.
CS first came into sight was when I was watching a documentary called "Hitch-hiking to Berlin". The two hitch-hikers have used CS few times on their way from Beijing to Berlin through the EuroAisa. Many of my friends have also recommended me to try CS, not only because it could save much money while traveling, which is important to us since we rely on parents economically, but also it provides a great platform for people around the world to get together and share their life and experiences. Brought up in the eastern cultures, I am always fascinated by the western civilization. After I've spent many years in the US, I finally have the chance to visit the source. I am backpacking Europe this summer, in hopes of gaining better knowledge of western history and civilization.

I love to travel. I play the accordion. I cook Chinese food. I am a fan in bicycles, founded a bike club back home. I play ping pong (haha of course), and have trained for 7 years. I play badminton, basketball, and soccer. I appreciate both American and Chinese music and a variety of genres. I love to learn history and meet people from different places and cultures. I am also a diarist.

I appreciate nearly all kinds of music.
I also like to watch all kinds of movies, comedies, thrillers, action movies, sci-fi, etc.
I enjoy reading. My favorite books are "Wolf Totem" by Jiang Rong, "To live" by Yu Hu, "Camille" by Alexandre Duma fils.
My favorite TV show is the GAME OF THRONES! (I have not started to read the books but perhaps soon)! I also have enjoyed watching the Walking Dead, Lost, the BigBang Theory.

I am always delighted to learn and to share my experience with different cultures and knowledge.
I can teach Chinese, ping pong, and other things that I am really good at.
I would love to learn more about each country's language, local cultures and history. I am trying to improve my French as well.
